Townsquare Media hires new senior VP for corporate strategy and development

Josephs comes to Townsquare after stint at investment bank focused on the media and entertainment industry

Townsquare Media Group announced today that Michael Josephs has joined the Company’s management team as Senior Vice President, corporate strategy and development.

“We are thrilled to have Michael join the Townsquare Media team and oversee our continued expansion into new products and sectors,” commented Steven Price, Townsquare Media Group chairman and CEO.  “Michael has a strong track record of success in the mergers and acquisitions sector and will greatly increase our Company’s bandwidth to explore opportunities.”

Mr. Josephs was most recently a managing director at MESA Securities, an investment bank solely focused on the media and entertainment industry. While at MESA, he sourced and led advisory and financing opportunities for early and growth stage clients. Prior to MESA, he spent ten years at Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch executing M&A and financing transactions for large capitalization media and entertainment companies. He was recently named to the Multichannel News 2013 Money All Star list.  Mr. Josephs graduated from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Josephs will be based at the Company’s headquarters in Greenwich, CT.
