UPDATE, 10:45 a.m. TUESDAY: Stephen Rickard of WFMW/WKTG tells me that he got in touch with technical support on the Mosquito Zapper feature, and here's their explanation of it and what it does: "It's a feature within the app that emits a high frequency tone that you cannot hear, but it repels mosquitos." So there you go. I personally can't wait to try it out!
Madisonville radio stations America's Music Radio WFMW-730 AM and Power Rock WKTG-93.9 FM announced Monday that they have updated their Android mobile apps.
Madisonville radio stations America's Music Radio WFMW-730 AM and Power Rock WKTG-93.9 FM announced Monday that they have updated their Android mobile apps.
The revised apps have an all-new look and offer greater functionality. On the WFMW app, for example, users can find station information, share the app with friends, visit the station's Facebook page, set an alarm clock or sleep timer ... and there's even a "Mosquito Zapper" feature, although I'm not sure about that one. (Stay tuned.)
The app can be found in the Google Play Store or by going to the updates on your Android phone or other mobile device.
