TUESDAY TIME MACHINE: Nobody covers local sports like 25 Alive!

UPDATE, 1:20 p.m.:  I forgot to mention when I first posted this that there is rare footage of the late Mark "The Bird" Fidrych pitching for the Triplets in the first video below.  That's during the sportscast segment of that video.

Back in the late 1970s, nobody covered sports on TV like WEHT 25 Alive, but don't take my word for it - watch for yourself in the video below!  Immediately following the promo is rare footage of a WEHT sportscast featuring reporter Doug Claybourn telling viewers about the Evansville Triplets (including rare video footage!).
