Do you know if WTVW will carry CW's Saturday Morning programming? And will CW programming be in HD?

Will CW be in hd? Will there be Saturday morning programming?

CW programming is in HD. As for Saturday morning programming, I don't yet know what they will do. CW does have the Vortexx block (more info here: but WTVW hasn't said if that will be on their air. I have a feeling it will be.

Just asking because I know there are certain affiliates that don't air it because they already have e/i mandated hours elsewhere, or end before the final hour because of sports.

As soon as the TV guides are updated, we'll know for sure. I'll also touch base with the station and see if they can tell me.

Here's the official answer from WEHT/WTVW general manager Arika Zink:

"We plan to start airing the CW Saturday kids programming the week of April 1. That gives us the opportunity to promote the children’s television programming change."

Well that's a tad disappointing. But thanks anyway.
