TV's "Mr. Food" dies of cancer at 81

Art "Mr. Food" Ginsburg
Art Ginsburg, the TV chef known as "Mr. Food," has died at his Florida home after a yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer.

Ginsburg, who was 81, was known for easy cooking tips and always ended his syndicated segments with the same catchphrase:  "Ooh! It's so good!"

In addition to his television work (his 90-second bits, which premiered in 1975, were seen on as many as 168 TV stations at the peak of his popularity a few years ago), Ginsburg, who started in the meat business and eventually moved into catering, published more than 50 cookbooks that sold over 8 million copies.

He will be missed.
