Meteorologist accepts job at WSBT-TV in South Bend, Ind.

WSIL-TV meteorologist Matt Rudkin has announced that he's moving on.
Rudkin, who joined the Harrisburg, Ill. ABC affiliate in June of last year, has accepted a job at CBS affiliate WSBT-TV in South Bend, Ind., one of the two stations where he interned while earning his degree in atmospheric sciences from Purdue University.
"I am blessed to have had the opportunity to learn and grow in southern Illinois, but I am looking forward to working in my hometown and being near my family again," Rudkin wrote on Facebook.
His final day at WSIL will be Friday.
