The Spring radio numbers are finally out; WIKY, WKDQ and WSTO still hold top three spots

Twice a year, Arbitron releases the ratings for radio in the Evansville area, and the Spring 2011 numbers are now out.

As usual, South Central Media's WIKY-104.1 is the station that rules the roost, and this time the station was able to put a bit more distance between itself and #2 station WKDQ-99.5.  Both stations were able to post gains over Spring 2010.

South Central's WSTO-Hot 96, with a slight uptick in its ratings, is still a solid third.

Toward the middle of the pack, rock stations WABX-107.5 and 103GBF (WGBF-FM) registered the largest drops of any stations in the area, falling into a statistical tie with each other.

At the low end of the scale, WQXQ-101.9 (Central City, Ky.) and WYNG-94.9 (Mt. Carmel, Ill.) appeared in the ratings for the first time in more than 2 years, although they did not register highly.

WGBF is one of the worst rock stations in the country. They have had the same people on the air forever and they are awful.
